What we collect
- Your email address, so we can deliver the reading.
- Your dog’s name, breed, age range, and short personality answers.
- One photo of your dog, compressed on your device before upload.
- Basic technical data: browser type, IP address, referring URL, and (if you got here via an ad) the ad’s campaign identifiers.
How the photo is handled
Your photo is compressed and resized in your browser before it reaches our server. Once your reading is generated, the compressed copy is retained on our side only as long as needed to prepare the final deliverable, then it’s deleted. We never sell, share, or expose it publicly.
Who sees your data
A small set of third-party services helps us run Pawstrology. Each only receives what they need for their piece:
- Whop, payments and checkout.
- Resend, delivery of the reading email.
- Brevo, email list + optional follow-ups.
- OpenAI, part of the pipeline that assists reading generation. Your dog’s photo + quiz answers are sent as inputs; nothing is stored on their side beyond the request.
- Meta (Facebook) and TikTok, ad analytics pixels. See the cookies section below.
Cookies we set
paw_vid, a 1-year anonymous visitor id used to link your visits into a single funnel entry and to keep A/B test buckets sticky.paw_theme, remembers the light/dark preview if you use the URL parameter to set one.paw_price_variant, freezes which price you were shown on your first visit so returning visits keep the same offer._fbp,_fbc,_ttp,ttclid, standard Meta and TikTok pixel cookies, used only for ad attribution.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we have on you, or to delete it, at any time. Email contact@pawstrology.com from the address you used to buy and we’ll handle it within a few days.
Children
Pawstrology is not designed for people under 16. We don’t knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If we update this policy in a meaningful way, we’ll bump the “last updated” date at the top and note the change on this page.
